At Jam Camp, campers choose among 20 workshops each day in instrumental ensembles for beginners through advanced players (taught by ear), improvisation, different styles of vocals and dance (hip-hop and jazz), steel drum, spoken word, writing, percussion, ukulele, songwriting and more. Daily rec activities include swimming, volleyball, basketball, arts and crafts, jam sessions and nature hikes with evening open mics, beautiful bonfires, and more. Youth of all skill levels can take part in a highly creative experience in a stunning redwood environment, with caring and supportive staff and faculty. Jam Camp West blends the wonders of the natural world into this inspiring and fun-packed music making experience.

Each day consists of six activity experiences with time to rest (we call "Chill Time") before dinner. We also offer day trips, excursions, and special events that campers and staff create. There is built-in time to play, be social, discover, relax, design, laugh, and breathe. By the end of their session, they are proud to share their creations with fellow campers, friends, and family. We offer activities and experiences to promote self-expression, grow self-esteem, and build a foundation for lifelong creativity as they develop as young humans.
Situated on 50 acres within peaceful, natural surroundings in the Maine woods, Camp Med-o-lark is the ideal setting for personal expression and ensemble collaboration. Our camp is located on a gorgeous lakefront property that also houses a historic farm, creating a magical village that awakens the senses like few places can.
